Can’t get to the chapel on time.

Am missing my brother’s funeral.  Car won’t turn over–apparently it’s the starter.  And I’m no gearhead.  So, best wishes to Kelly and my new sister-in-law, the legendary German Science Babe.

    that’s too bad! Couldn’t call a cab?

    I hadn’t realized the even was going to go all Tim Burton claymation on us.

      Had I budgeted enough time, that would have worked. But I discovered the problem shortly before time to leave. And this isn’t a cab-intensive area, it’d have been a half-hour wait or more for it to arrive.

      And the betrothed were both cool about it. Whatever the opposite of a “Bridezilla” is, that’s the GSB.
