You know something I’d been missing for more than a year, but didn’t realize was missing until now?
Dreams.
Maybe two weeks after getting the new CPAP mask, I woke and realized I’d had a dream. A linear, progressive dream; a real dream, if you’ll pardon the oxymoron. And it dawned on me that that had been missing for quite some time. Oh, there were occasional flashes and images and feelings…but no narrative. Apparently I wasn’t getting enough REM sleep enough for them?
All this blog’s existence your host has made cracks about “puny humans”, while apparently becoming less of a person for most of that time. Now he may be rejoining your ranks.
But this site and other mental pursuits are still taking a backseat to regaining physical health. Renewed energy is mostly being reinvested in physical activity. My legs are constantly sore from increases in walking.
Haven’t felt this good in years.
Thanks for the patience.

Holy chao, never heard that one. Nice!

All good news and good to hear.
And good Confucius say quips. Never heard them before.
