In the previous post, Midwest Rhino noted that our Political Class is liquidating the currency in lieu of assets.  Ouch.  It’s agonizing because it’s true.  Then SeanB added, “Until they finally run out of others money and cannot borrow any more to push the can further down the road…”

I immediately wanted to quip that we should get into the wheelbarrow business.  Then realized we could actually investigate the wheelbarrow’s legendary role in high finance.

Boooo.  Apparently…it’s legendary.  But let your disappointment be allayed by that link.  It’s a quick look at some currencies used during Weimer hyperinflation.  You know the old saying:  in for a Pfennig, out for a Rentenmark.
