Whereas we, the undersigned, are all owners of firearms or in agreement with such owners who profess the right to self-defense, and;

Whereas we are weary of dealing with those who seek to deny us our self-defense, and are utterly dumbfounded that they point to homicidal maniacs as an argument for disarming the law-abiding, knowing from all history and human nature that such action leads inevitably to the abuse of human rights, and;

Whereas we also recognize that foolishness can be legalized if such be the demonstrable will of a people, we hereby declare the sole condition by which we consent to be divested of our means of self-defense, to wit:  the Repeal of the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

We will no longer consider our disarmament until such time as the Constitutionally guaranteed right to arms has been Repealed by the American people in whole, in strict accordance with Article Five of that Constitution.  Thus no proposal for our disarmament shall even be considered lest it come from a majority of two-thirds of both houses of Congress or two-thirds of the legislatures of these United States.

We do now pledge to oppose any such proposal with our lives, fortunes, and sacred honor.  Yet we do further pledge to surrender our firearms without further protest should such a proposal be ratified by either three-fourths of the state legislatures or three-fourths of the states’ ratifying conventions, as Congress may choose.  We will submit to the Rule of Law should the Rule of Law thus Amend the Constitution.

Know that any other attempt to disarm us shall henceforth be regarded as an unconstitutional attempt to substitute the Rule of Men for the Rule of Law.  We shall ever oppose such tyranny in accordance with the Founders who enshrined the Second Amendment as a guardian of lawful government.  We will continue to tolerate abuse of the First Amendment in the craven falsehoods with which the tyrannical few seek to discredit a law-abiding majority, but we will not recognize those lies as anything but such.

In respect of right and recognition of might, we here do solemnly vow that naught but the Constitution or Conquest shall ever disarm us.

We do finally vow that only the Constitution shall do so peacefully.
