Spent the last hour trying to write a post on…turned out it was futility. The point was the uselessness of trying to reason with the Left. Tried to embed wiki’s copy of The Punishment of Sisyphus in all its huge jpeg glory. Failed, repeatedly. Tried to go with the American Sisyphus, Charlie Bown and the football. Failed. Repeatedly.
And no, the irony is not lost.
WordPress also failed to save additions to that post describing my increasingly irate attempts. Finally, I noticed that it couldn’t embed >1oo megabyte photos from my files. The giant Punishment is 120 megs. So probably that’s the reason for the glitches. Hopefully.

I’ve realized that these people aren’t even “left” by definition. I mean, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, even Marx himself wanted people to work. They wanted them to work in a system that can’t function, but sitting on your butt all day and getting fed by the rest of the working class isn’t really part of actual Leninist-Marxist doctrine.
Today’s “left” wing lives by catering to people who don’t want to do anything. They live by supporting more and more welfare.
Let’s face the brutal truth: under any socialist system in history today’s “left” wing would be the first to end up in labor camps, their beloved welfare queens included.
So today’s “left” is pretty much an enemy of both the capitalist AND the socialist. Take OWS. Some of their retarded supporters claim that these “protestors” are all so well educated and all have jobs. Okay, if they have jobs, why do they have time to protest 24/7? If they’re so well educated, why do they believe everything should be free? Even the most messed up socialist economy has a currency, has a market.
They’re nothing but pseudo-socialist. I don’t have a fitting term for them, other than lazy retards and non-achievers. In a capitalist system you work for profit. In a socialist system you work for the glory of the motherland or because the party decrees it so. But you will work. Heck, take the Nazis. Hitler got rid of the unemployment. Everyone worked, even if it meant digging ditches. I don’t remember ever seeing people just sitting on their butts doing absolutely nothing in the USSR either. Same for China.
So yeah, today’s “Free $hit Army” isn’t really “left”. They are… something completely different.
