Actually, I think he’s begging for some electoral fraud. Whenver progs whine about voter ID, remind them that the Vice President publicly calls for Virginians to vote in North Carolina’s elections.

Hmmm. When were 21st Century Americans (who all look the same to Biden) ever in chains? Let’s face facts: there’s only one job Joe Biden could ever do properly.

We have voter ID in Austria. And as far as I know pretty much every EU country has it too, has had for decades.
The reason we have it is simple: we need make sure that the person casting the vote is actually authorized to do so. This system has been around for decades, long before I was allowed to vote. In Austria it’s even tied in with the residence registration system. See here, if you live somewhere, you need to register that you live there. I for example, am registered with the primary place of residence in my apartment here in Vienna, but I’m also registered in my hometown as a secondary place of residence. I’m only allowed to vote at my primary pace of residence, or anywhere in Austria (including foreign Austrian embassies) with a special voting card, which I have to specifically request. Those system tied together make it very easy to notify people on where and when to vote.
And guess what. It’s working. Nobody is disenfranchised, nobody is in chains. Those who’re authorized to vote under the rule of law get to vote.
This ridiculous whining is just another example of the American Left’s mental atrophy. (The moral atrophy would go without saying…if it wasn’t the most important thing to point out.)
Seriouly, I think America’s statists are the world’s stupidest. They have no problem carding people for anything, except voting. The reason is simple and obvious: they have a near-monoply on irresponsible voters.
The left here tried something similar before last national elections. They figured “Hey, let’s lower the voting age to 16.” (which, honestly, is so stupid I don’t have enough hands to facepalm as much as I’d like to)
Oh boy, they got one hell of a wake-up call. The perceived right wing gained huge amounts of votes.
OT, this island grabbing sh*t by Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, and China (all at the same time, d*cks) is getting really serious right now, folks.
Good thing Japan has been devoting so much energy to those unsafe helicopters at the US bases in Okinawa. Yeah, Japan is so well prepared now to face down all the bullies in the neighborhood now. (F*****g idiots.)

All sides are behaving like idiots. Ishihara wants to buy them (I swear, the only reason this guy still gets elected is because all his competition in Tokyo is just laughable), the rest gets pissy. It’s like a bunch of little kids screaming at each other in a sandbox.
I’m seriously tempted to just claim the islands for Austria next time I’m in Japan.
Though, the Osprey isn’t as unsafe as the “critics” claim. Heck, those critics are usually people who can’t even fly a paper plane. I did some research. According to USMC pilots the auto-rotation isn’t even an issue. They say they can just glide the bird, which makes sense. She has wings. Heck, that bird is still safer than a normal day in traffic in Vienna, New York or even Tokyo. Early versions had massive issues, but the latest batches are pretty damn good.
