There will probably be fewer long essays here for a while. Because apparently I’ve started work on The Book of Unspeakable Truth.
On the other hand, I could probably post the work here in toto and not affect The B.U.T.‘s chances of success or number of copies sold. Hmm.
Oh, my Kindle 3G came in last night. Guess I’ll need to buy and study some e-books to see how you go about writing one. Anyone here doing any e-projects?
Define “e-project” please.
Electronic book, like for Kindle? Or any other project, for any other “e”-medium.
Hmmm… sorry, can’t help you there.
Write on, man! (To appropriate some far out 60s lingo.)
I’d say get it all out, at least draft 1, and try not to get hung up on self-evaluation, at least not until there’s something big enough to self-evaluate about. Forge on ahead. You got the chops. You got the ideas. Just do it. (How many tiresome cliches have I deployed so far in this comment . . . ? Anyway, you know what I mean.)
One of the best books on writing I’ve ever seen is, “How to Write a Movie in 21 Days”. The central point: write from the heart, rewrite from the head.
Of course, easier said than done. It’s very very hard, in fact.
And, to help the WORM write without those bells……

Thanks, Sean. I’ve bookmarked that page. My parents have sent me some product called “Quietus” they kept seeing ads for. I guess it can’t be Acamprosate-based, since it wasn’t prescription. So maybe eventually…
