A mighty warrior he.

So Bill Clinton’s latest cock-a-doodle-dooing is about how hard he went after bin Laden.  Uh-huh.

Something else that needs pointing out:   his administration was the one that made “regime change” in Iraq the official U.S. policy.  Then he never did anything about it.  And  when Dubya brought down Saddam, the entire Left and (almost all) Democrats shrieked to the high heavens about the “illegal”war.

I wish some big bloggers would get that reminder out there.

What do I remember of Clinton…. DADT. Ah, that thing about how everyone should be able to buy a house (ignore being able to afford it, just force the banks to give everyone a mortgage, so smart.) And Monica. That’s about it.

It’s funny. The whole left also whined so much about DADT and almost danced in the streets when it was repealed, completely forgetting that it was Clinton who signed it into law without the slightest resistance in the first place.

Not to forget that Obama’s call to take out Osama was hardly an example of decisive leadership either. The time it took him to finally come up with a decision, ridiculous. And then, in the op room, he sat on the side like a little boy, put into his place by more competent people.

Romney should say, “of course I’d have done things differently. I wouldn’t have waited 24 hours before making the decision.”

Wasn’t the Clinton White House responsible for deciding against killing Bin Laden at a time when they knew exactly where he was? Imagine if the man had been dead that long ago… What would the world have been like now?

I believe you’re right. Although, in his defense, I bet Clinton would have gone after Osama if the timing had been right with the Monica situation. Instead, he had to go after an aspirin factory.

Then we would not have the forever war…………

After all they were the ones who created him. Not necessarily Monica;s BMF, but the house on the hill in it’s various guises.

It does get complicated. It’s why I’m willing to cut people slack for making the hard decisions. But claiming one did the opposite of what actually happened is how you lose all that slack.

We’ve had that war since…. well, 600-something. There were just short periods of cease fire, but the war’s been going on for about 1,400 years.

I was thinking of putting it differently. The only thing Bill Clinton ever went hard after was Monica. Bad pun intended.

I almost killed a buddy with his own laughter once. He’d never heard the “Bill Clinton’s humidor” line. Seriously, it looked like he was going to pass out there for a minute.
