Can you see me? I’m waving!
We are indeed at the very center of the (observable) universe. True, that universe is defined by distance—a comoving distance of 14 billion parsecs. And so it would seem to all observers at every location that they are also at the center. The difference is, we really are.
By “we” I mean “wormme”, to be precise. Obviously I’m at the very very center. But you guys came sooooo close.
That wasn’t an editorial comment on Cosmic Trivia, which I fully support.
I just thought it was funny and didn’t know where else to put it up.
