The German Science Babe and my factory-new grandniece are joining us for Superbowl Sunday. Obviously there won’t be much blogging later. But this also ends my sports viewing until fall, and Alabama’s next football game. Well, unless Kentucky makes the Final Four. (Whereupon I will watch them, jinx them, and swear not to do it again, which I won’t until the next time they make the Final Four.)
Let those of us to be glued to the screen tonight pray for that rarest of treats: a great game and great new commercials.
And that the New England Cheaters lose, of course.

Oooh, congrats. Have fun! Should be a close game, given the number of starters we lost. But I refuse to plead “rebuilding year” when Saban is our coach.
I watched a bit, I admit. But then came the halftime show and I didn’t want to see Madonna a The Mummy 4.
Also, the game reminded me again why I will always prefer icehockey. GO BRUINS! BEAR POWER!
