We normally have six techs here on weekdays; today we started with three and are now down to two.  That’s not to imply that I’m buried in work and exhausted by early afternoon; it’s meant to SHOUT IT ALOUD.

Did have a interesting little moment.  Did a gamma spec (spectrum) analysis of a sample that had been irradiated about eight hours earlier.  The system identified about 2.07 E-4 micro-Curies (about 450 disintegrations per minute) of Thallium-208. 

Do you see whys I knows it lies?

 Definitely won’t be much more posting from me tonight.  Someday our tech group will pull out of this amazing run of illness, injury, and bad luck.  But not today.
