Took me a while. This joke needs copy editing:
Why is it that the pagan practice of throwing a virgin into a volcano is cruel, but sacrificing a virgin in an earthquake is being generous to a fault?
(Otherwise “pagan” vs. “generous” and “throwing” vs. “tossing” get readers on the wrong track.)
By the way, did I tell you my wife thinks Cooking and Cleaning are cities in China?
Heh heh. All I know is that when I try to call someone over there every time I Wing I get the Wong number.
