So it comes to pass that children are given as a right to those from whom they were once protected as a duty. The normalization of perversion is complete.
Wow. Xpat linked to this article at FirstThings. It is the best description of moral corruption ever:
Sin ramifies. It is fertile, fissiparous, and parasitic,
Well, second-best. “Zombifies” is more succinct. And please note my sympathy for gay people who want to have children. I can both feel for them and deny their wishes. All people want things they shouldn’t get. Hey, I’d really like to CENSOR Tyra Banks, but should humanity permit that outrage?
…?
…no. Dammit. So if I don’t get to ruin womens’ lives by CENSORING them, why should gay people get to roll the dice on kids?
The rebuttal argument, of course, is that gays are made that way, so they’re completely natural, while violating someone is a choice, and so you can be condemned for it.
Of course, if you want something completely natural, look at the animal kingdom–red in tooth and claw.
I really think that the basic axioms of morals need to be taught:
I: Morality (by definition) is the consensus of society of what is right and what is wrong
II: Anything created by man is able to be changed by man.
III: The smallest society is the single person.
CONCLUSION: If morality is all that exists, then there is no way to legitimately condemn another, except by a tyranny of the majority, and if the majority disagrees with you, then you are wrong!
IV: Ethics–absolute right and wrong–must have a source outside of humanity, or else it would be subject to change by mankind, and thus not ethics.
Alexander Pope also noted the basic dynamic:
Vice is a monster of so frightful mien,
As to be hated needs but to be seen;
Yet seen too oft, familiar with her face,
We first endure, then pity, then embrace.
First of, wall of text.
Secondly, animal kingdom, I’m not going to let that just stand there. Most animals (usually higher developed ones) have mating rituals. Birds for example go through great lengths to find a mate (penguins are a great example, their mating rituals are quite fascinating and some even stay together for life.) Mammals aren’t any different. But then again, animals breed only at certain times in a year. They can’t do it 24/7/365.
Human can do it and with that comes rape. Something that, as such, doesn’t exist among other (higher) animals. Horses, for example, only mate when the mare gives the signs that she is ready. You won’t see a stallion mount a mare that isn’t in heat. And if he tries, he’ll get her hooves in the face and then he won’t try it again.
Child molestation is “intergenerational intimacy”. Okay, then murder is post partum abortion. Simply put, anyone touching my niece of my god daughters is DEAD. I will hunt him down, find him and kill him. Simple as that. I have zero tolerance there.
If there is no consent, then it’s not right. If the other partner is not ready, then it’s not right. Simple as that. You can see this in nature. Mating only happens between mature individuals. Only with consent, up to the level of which other animals can give that.
“Nobel-prize laureate James Watson proposes that parents of newborns be granted a grace period during which they may have their babies killed, and in 1994 a committee of the American Medical Association proposed harvesting organs from some sick babies even before they die.”
That is unacceptable and 100% unnatural.
In nature the offspring is protected. Animals with social structures form groups in their structure that do exactly that. Primates come to mind, but suricates and many others too. They keep their young together and the whole colony helps guarding and protecting them. They don’t always succeed, of course. There are many factors. But usually they try.
The idea of right and wrong has evolved over thousands of years and has always been based on one thing: survival of your specis, your family and your genes. This is why family exists. A group can protect the offspring better than an individual. Organised religion eventually hijacked this to gain more power (the only goal organised religion ever had.)
Bottom line is right and wrong exists in nature. Just that a random grizzly or horse doesn’t see it as such (how could they, they are not humans.) Eating your own offspring isn’t good in nature. It will wipe out your species. Thus higher animals don’t do it. It’s a simple program running in their CPUs. The homo sapiens sapiens, however, has the ability to ignore such programming. He can chose. Rape is a choice. The rapist choses to attack. There is no instinct for that.
Homosexuality, well, personally I don’t see it as natural. There is no example in nature apart from a small group of humans. The gay penguins don’t count. These penguins are locked into a zoo. They are effectively in jail. They had no women around, but since they’re animals they are driven by their instincts. So eventually they turned on each other. But they were not born gay. They are like prisoners or sailors back in the 17th century.
I don’t think anybody is born gay. Show me the gene that does it. Show me the DNA segment. Show me the adenine, thymine, guanine and cytosine sequence that makes one gay. Show me the scientific evidence. No, Kinsey doesn’t count, he was no scientist. He gathered his “data” in extremely dubious ways. He was a nutjob (at best), and a supporter of rapists (at worst.) If that guy was still alive and would get within 10 feet of my niece or god-daughters I’d probably drop him as precaution.
As for abortion. You may remember how I said that I’m convinced that human life begins at conception. The DNA says it’s human. And it’s alive, as proven by the mitosis. Only living cells duplicate and later differentiate into different organs, etc. Whether it’s self-aware is irrelevant. Scientifically the fetus is 100% human. And killing a human being is usually called “murder”. 1+1=2.
And I had to google Tyra Banks, she rang no bell. But see, there is only one woman in my life, so I don’t see other women as “women” per se. Those of you who have seen Highlander know it: there can only be one. Yes, sure, I could go ahead and, you know. But why would I do that? I love her, why would I hurt her? To follow my own selfish desires? How’s about not.
I wanted to say something else, but I forgot.
The writing on the wall was clear when a gay associate began complaining at work about the injustice of the marriage laws. All his arguments were solved by a civil union but that wasn’t good enough. When it surfaced that his relationship was actually a threesome, all sympathy ceased. This is indeed a slippery slope. We are America or we are an unruly collection of amoral libertines bent on sleazy self indulgence. I choose the former.
