Okay, okay, so I went and bought Disgaea 4. And sure, maybe the first three of these Nippon Ichi games sucked the euivalent of a half-year’s full time work out of me. Give or take two hundred hours.
And yes, this latest is just addicting. But that doesn’t mean my blogging has to suffer. It’s theoretically possible that it won’t.
Oooh, oooh, I’ve got it! I’ll enter the Item World of my computer and fight my way through the full 100 floors, massively levelling up its stats and enable much faster blogging!
Problem solved.
Is it as good as the Suikoden games? Especially the second one?
I’ve really liked the two Suikodens I’ve played, but do prefer Disgaea. The humor translates well, and they always have at least a few amazing voice actors. I do play most every turn-based RPG that comes along.
I’d rank the series (best to worst) as 2, 1 & 5 (tie), 3, 4 (don’t play this one).
The iron chef mini quest in 2 is epic.
It’s been so long I’ve forgotten which versions I played! I think 2 and 3. And didn’t they do some form of Suikoden “Tactics”. Seems like they had one, which was okay but not as good as FF Tactics or zany Disgaea.
Dead Island. That is all.
Also Space Marine.
And I want the new DLC for Shogun 2 released. Now!
Thank the Lord I’m not into FPS’s, or that would be it for even the pretense of a life.
No FPS there.
Dead Island is a first person somewhat-rpg. And I get sidetracked constantly by trying to drown zombies.

Space Marine is 3rd person hack & slash. Short campaign, but INTENSE 40k action.
My definition of a good day in the world of Warhammer 40,000: http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g362/Edohiguma/sm/2011-09-09_00022.jpg
And Shogun 2 is part of the Total War series. I loves it.

Nice photobucket pic!
Don’t tell me the’re not showing… if so I must bring my Gnarled Staff of Ass Whoop +3 to photobucket and use it.
