Obama’s latest economic “genius” believes that increasing the minimum wage creates jobs?

Well, legendary bigbrains Kennedy and Affleck agree.

When Affleck was stumping for another minimium wage increase, he said something like, “increasing the minimum wage never costs jobs”.  Well in that case, Ben…why do you hate workers so much?  Shouldn’t we increase the m.w. to $20 an hour?

Wait, if we bumped it to $500 per hour we’d all make at least a million dollars a year!  What could go wrong?

They should eliminate the minimum wage for workers under 25 years of age. Right now unemployment is at 50% for workers between 16 and 25. Unemployment is 16.5% for black workers of all ages. Eliminating the minimum wage will put more people to work. Increasing minimum wage will simply put more people in unemployment.

I guess since the Democrats consider unemployment benefits to be the “best stimulus” program, they are attempting to increase the scope of the unemployment compensation “stimulus” program.

Idiots. Each and ever one of them.

      Heh heh, good point.

No doubt they’ll keep trying, they should be honest and call it the “Extend Unemployment Payments Past The 2012 Elections” Act.

Maybe not idiots … they just have a different agenda. Destroy capitalism, partly by overloading our benevolent programs to help the “needy”.

By increasing the minimum wage to $10, they get a twofer. They get to claim they are on the side of the worker making a “living wage”, then when that puts them on welfare they have another captive voter demanding more “benevolence” from those evil capitalists (ie. workers). They have their own propaganda, with the media pitching in to label capitalists as evil, for wanting to actually build a strong, productive economic engine.

So far capitalism has been the little engine that could, but they are getting fed up with being jerked around and pulling the whole train, while the passengers collect the revenue.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to show others the inherent irrationality of the Left’s ideas. Should you be caught or killed, the W.O.R.M. will disavow any knowledge.

    This blog will self-destruct in 5 seconds…

On the theme of intentionally destroying our economy, there is this beauty I saw over at Instapundit.
