Last year the German budget was 320 billion Euro. 80 billion were new debt and 150 billion were for the welfare state. Haven’t heard this year’s budget anywhere, but don’t expect anything smart or good from them. Given the whole Euro thing, it will be much worse than last year.
And today I saw a report that Germany’s…quarterly?…GDP increase was 0.2%. If the Clydsdale stops pulling, the wagon will roll to a stop.
