We have to accept Obama’s plan…

to find out what’s in it.

No, wait.  I’ll predict massive increases in spending, debt, and taxes, with statistical fakery and lies making it seem, superficially, otherwise.

The secret plan is to force farmers to have CDLs and keep a log book. Knowing the DOT can put a trucking company out of business during one of its audits how many farms will they be taking. This insane policy is in the comment stage, but watch for its stealth passage.

I don’t know about that secret plan … but the bureaucrats and lawyers DO seem to be enslaving everyone else. The pompous “elite” require regulatory mountains be scaled to do any simple job. “Lawfare” squeezes individuals and smaller companies, with legal threats and coercion, along with local political cabals and cronyism.

Our politicians, from the UN down to our local mayors, preen in their courting dances with each other, as they feather only their own nest. Despite their rhetoric, they consider themselves far above the average prole. The Tea Party seems to be the last hope to deal with our corrupt, ballooning government bureaucracy.

And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

Is there any area of capitalism they’re not crippling? I’m talking industry, not cronies within the various fields. They’re doing fine.

I guess all politicians are liars, but Obama seems to delight in doing the complete opposite of what he promises, with a straight face. Apparently that campaign promise of cutting the outrageous half trillion Bush deficit really meant, TRIPLING it.

And not just for one year, but annual trillion dollar deficits for ten years … and that is assuming the economy magically recovers to 4% growth, without inflation, and with a cherry unicorn on top.

We are stuck with an ACORN agitator who is appointing actual communists to his administration. He just can’t get enough of creating crisis after crisis, then demanding more power to “fix it”.

    God help us.

He’s nothing as an individual, it’s the millions of citizens who seem to believe we’re “insane” for insisting on balancing the budget and “bitter clingers” for wanting to be able to defend ourselves.

  3. crosspatch says:

The major problem I have with Reid’s plan is that it “deems passed” budgets for FY 2012 and FY 2013, basically continuing the FY 2010 budget for two more years and cutting the current House out of creating any budget for the duration of this Congress.

I don’t believe that is going to fly. It basically neuters an entire session of the House.
