Thank God we are not as ornery Brits!

Behold the Ghost of HealthCare Future!

CCTV captured staff pulling the lifeless body of Peter Thompson along the floor like they were ‘dragging the body of a dead animal’.

Fortunately we Americans are inherently superior to the Brits, eh?  We don’t have functionaries who do the absolute minimum with no apology or even regret.  We’ve no  bureaucrats using endless codes and regulations to punish or reward at their whim.

Socialized medicine will always be the best approach given uniformly good, moral, honest, generous citizens.

Which fortunately all Americans are.  That’s why states’ socialized programs are uniform successes.

UPDATE–See what I mean?  USA!  USA!

About wormme

I've accepted that all of you are socially superior to me. But no pretending that any of you are rational.

Well, technically he was a dead animal.

Back in vet college, our zoology script had “humans” under “primates”.

School has been a social program forever in this country and while I will wholeheartedly admit because there are no inherent standards across the board and the semantics like tenure and union holdouts makes the system flawed, Americans wouldn’t have it any other way and if they had to pay for school, millions of children would not attend.

    • wormme says:

The shame is, millions of children do attend school without an education being imparted. And almost none of them are to blame, the failure is that of parents and the education industry.

      • Rana says:

I COMPLETELY agree though I think the blame partially falls on the parents a TON of it falls to lack of standards across the board. I know I shutter to think but we are the only nation in the developed world that does not have an education system that has standards across the board. We leave it up to individual states and they leave it up to individual counties who leave it up to individual districts as long as they fall into a certain category of criteria. It’s a failed system because of it’s semantics NOT because of it’s social element.

        • wormme says:

Again, I’d ask you to check out schoolbooks prior to “education” becoming a massive virtual monopoly. There were even fewer standards back then, but education was much better. The problem is that it wasn’t available to everyone, not a lack of standardized criteria.

And of course the dissolution of urban families has been horrendously damaging.

          • Mountainbear says:

Well, at least they know the important stuff. Like how global warming is killing polar bears, how America and the Jews are evil and how anything even remotely nuclear is satan.

Nevermind that many don’t even know the difference between their, they’re and there, or your and you’re, or then and than. That’s not important!
