…better have an attorney before driving any nails.
It is the corruption of the legal system that destroys a nation of law. The legal/governmental industry is by far the greatest threat to America’s survival.

aahhhh, but.
Blaming the lawyers is like blaming the monster and forgetting all about its creator, Dr. Frankenstein.
The American people are the creators of this Lawyer Monster, ie, our overly regulated, legalistic and litigious society. More specifically, the Monster’s creators are the people who favor victimhood over personal responsibility (leftists!), and favor bestowing privileges to specific classes of people over The Rule of Law (leftists!).
Add on top of that the fact that people en masse, regardless of their political leanings, have collectively dumped their civic duties on the “expert” lawyers for a long time. They’ve bought the idea that laws and courts can be understood and run by lawyers alone.
Certainly, out of self-interest the lawyers as an industry have helped to preserve this idea.
But we’ll fix it by simply no longer buying it. Stop sending the lawyers to represent us in the House and Senate. Stop hiring them for every little thing. Shoot, used to be that you couldn’t research the law properly without an expensive Lexis-Nexis subscription, and several trips to the Court’s library.
Now, some simple Google searching will often get you everything you need. A big part of this Tea Party/New Media/conservative ascendancy is the fact that we are taking back our civic duties and becoming our own advocates once again.
cheers!
Very nice comment, thanks!
Yup, the feedback cycle of government adding lawyers adding laws adding lawyers ad nauseum gets old. Go go Tea Party!
