Unlike this guy, I don’t think the unions are insane. Malevolent tyrants, but they probably believe they’re just squeezing more golden eggs out of the taxpayers, not killing the goose itself.

You know that one proposal is that the state no longer collect each member’s union dues and give the proceeds to the union? It should have been insane for the state to do that in the first place. The government isn’t permitted to deal with union members individually (that’s what union reps are for) but meanwhile it collects everyone’s dues.

But that wasn’t insanity either. Just more malevolent tyranny. With the state automatically collecting, union officials get 100% of potential funds. Doing their own work, they get less. Heads they win, tails we lose, and who cares about the legality?

Screw all union bosses, everywhere, at all times, with every implement at hand.
