I’m not demanding that Eric Holder be executed for treason…

but I contend that he’s deserving of it.

  1. I’m hard pressed to come up with a political figure I find more odious than Obama himself, but if I had to pick, Mr. “Americans are Cowards” would be it.

Oh and Gibbs. Maybe Pelosi. Biden. Barney Frank. Boxer . . .

    Uh, nevermind. They all stink.

I believe the only people who could theoretically be more contemptible than Michael Moore would be fans of Michael Moore.

If he counts as a political figure.

  2. D.J. says:

And here I am again, stating the constitutional definition of treason, from Article 3 Section 3: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

If you can convince me that his conduct rises to this level, I will agree with you, but beyond that I will say that this is a country that is supposed to be ruled by laws, not men. Yes, yes, hyperbole, and all that. I know. However, you can be construed literally. Personally, I think there is a much greater case to be made that various people at the New York Times could be indicted for and convicted of treason (under the ‘adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort’ part).

Now this might be post-worthy: who defines the enemies of the United States? Executive branch? Legislative? Judicial? Or…maybe our enemies define themselves as such…and so anyone citizen supporting such enemies (as al Quaeda, Hamas, etc.) and giving aid and comfort would be a traitor?

Well, as you say, some of the folks at the NYT are “adhering” to our enemies when they publish classified materials. If those folks get FOIA requests processed promptly while non-treasonous Americans are delayed or ignored, then he’s giving Aid and Comfort to those who give Aid and Comfort. So let’s compromise:

      We’ll execute half of him.

As far as who defines the enemies of the U.S., Congress declares war. Well, in a Constitutionally-obedient government it would. That would be the gold-standard of enemyhood.

But remember when Clinton made Iraq “regime-change” an official policy, then never did anything about it? What was Saddam, Clinton’s “frenemy”?

I personally believe most federal employees, handout recipients, progressives, etc. etc. are enemies of the United States, though very few are aware of it. But those domestic elements are what will eventually destroy our country, not any foreigners.
