Unless it turns out that “some animals are more equal than others”.
From the start, half the country never wanted nationalized health care. Personally, I feel you need 2 out of 3 citizens in favor of any law to be confident it does more good than harm. So obviously I was opposed.
Not anymore! This exemption thing is turning out awesome.
About 500 new organizations, comprising 600,000 people, just received various ObamaCare exemptions. That’s an average of 1,200 individuals per organization. Let’s say the smallest group has just 309 members. Or, 1/1,000,000th of our population.
So the Obama Administration is negotiating with American groups comprising 0.00001% of the population.
Did you know that you, personally, are 0.00000032% of America? So we’re almost there!
House Republicans plan to investigate the exemptions. I had strong opinions on that.
But now, who cares? Just carry exemption to its conclusion. Every individual American chooses between ObamaCare and a waiver. Don’t some members of these waivered groups want pure ObamaCare? If the federal government is dealing with groups at this level of detail, just cut a deal with each of us individually. Talk about consent of the governed!
We have the information and computing technology to manage it. Heck, we could have done it when the idea of VCLs (Voluntary Constrainment Laws) first occurred to me. My computer at that time being a Commodore 64.
P.S.–By “accept” ObamaCare, obviously I mean its existence. And only with a waiver in my sweaty little fist. And then, Obama, could we maybe extend the “waiver” idea to other government programs…?
Follow through with that, Barack Hussein Obama, and you will become the second greatest President in all history. I shall forever trumpet your glory.
