Even after supposedly quitting the KKK, he wrote letters of praise to its members.  Oh, and of course racial integration of the military was an unthinkable horror.

He filibustered the Civil Rights Act, and of course he pointed out that this dude…

…was a coward, about a month before MLK’s assassination.

 Now, I didn’t know all of the above when I vowed to bitch-slap this albino toad into incontinence.  But enough of it to know this particular leopard hadn’t changed his spots in three generations of Democratic voters.
